Cyprus Airways cares for its customers' special needs, offering special assistance for a safer and more comfortable travel experience. It is important all customers enjoy flying; therefore do not hesitate to request their assistance and services. If possible, please inform at least 48 hours before departure and they can provide you with special assistance:

• At the check-in counters
• Proceeding to the boarding area on departure
• Proceeding to the public area on arrival
• Embarking and disembarking the aircraft (Cyprus Airways may provide wheelchair services, or may arrange for the use of your own wheelchair)

Cyprus Airways may also provide:

• Appropriate aircraft seating - to request a particular seat, it is possible to view the aircraft seat maps (seats may not be pre-reserved in the Economy class, but every effort will be made to accommodate the request before departure)

• Special discounts for the disabled and their escort - special discounts for disabled persons and their escort Disabled persons and their escort may be entitled to discounted fares. Discounts apply to members of the Cyprus Paraplegic Association.

• Carriage of wheelchairs - Cyprus Airways will carry the customer's wheelchairs as priority baggage, without charge. Special wheelchair services may be provided by Cyprus Airways upon request

• Free Carriage of Eye seeing/hearing dogs - dogs which are assisting people with disabilities are carried free of charge, in the passenger cabin, provided that an extra seat is blocked off. The dog should be fitted with a muzzle and its owner is requested to carry tranquillizing drugs.

• Special meals - Cyprus Airways offers special meals, available on 48 hours notice. Stretcher service Stretchers may be accommodated on 48 hours notice. Please note that extra charges apply.

• Oxygen service - Oxygen cylinders are available for customers with respiratory problems at an extra charge. For further details please contact Cyprus Airways Reservation Offices.

• Passenger lifts - a passenger access lift is available at Larnaca, Paphos and most airports.

• Stretcher service Aircraft seating every effort will be made to accommodate passengers with special needs, next to the washrooms and as close as possible to the main exits.

Flying Whilst Pregnant If you are not experiencing a related medical condition, you are able to fly until your 28th week of pregnancy, i.e. as late as eight weeks prior to scheduled delivery. After your 28th week, a signed certificate from your doctor stating that you are fit to travel and confirming your dates of pregnancy is required.
